INTRODUCTION

THE GREAT MYSTERY OF SUCCESS

Brethren, we have been conditioned by the world to define success as the accumulation of things—silver, gold, titles, and glory. We are taught that elevation is a personal achievement, meant for the comfort and praise of the individual. But I declare unto you a profound mystery hidden in the Scriptures: God does not call you to climb mountains so you can sit alone in the clouds. He lifts you up so that you can reach down and pull others up.

True success is not merely the possession of power, but the proper distribution of it. As it is written in Genesis 12:2,

God said to Abraham, "I will bless thee, and thou shalt be a blessing."

Notice the order: The blessing is the source, but being a blessing is the purpose. The blessing is not the end; it is the seed. And as Ecclesiastes 11:6 instructs,

"In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand."

A seed stored profits nothing; it must be sown into the field of the world to bring forth a harvest.

Therefore, understand this spiritual law: Your elevation is your assignment. Your prosperity is your stewardship. Your success is your service.

Our Lord Jesus Christ established this standard perfectly. He testified in Mark 10:45,

"Even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."

This is the ultimate theology of greatness. In the Kingdom of God, authority is expressed through service, and leadership is defined by sacrifice. If the Master served, how shall the servant refuse? If the King washed feet, how shall we demand thrones?

We are called to apply the blueprint of Heaven to the structures of earth. We are living stones (1 Peter 2:5), built together not just for a building, but for the transformation of society and the building of nations.

THEOLOGY OF THE HOUSEHOLD – OIKONOMIA

The Greek word Oikonomia speaks volumes to our understanding. It means the management, arrangement, or governance of a household. It is from this word we derive our understanding of economics and administration. The Scripture teaches us that the entire world is God’s household.

Psalm 24:1 declares, "The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."

Theologically, this means you are not an owner; you are a steward. You are a manager of the goods of Another. What you have, you received. What you built, the strength was given to you. As

Deuteronomy 8:18 warns, "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth."

We see this principle clearly in the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25). The master delivered his goods to his servants and went away. He expected a return on his investment. The one who hid his talent was called "wicked and slothful." Why? Because he hoarded what belonged to God. He removed value from the economy. He took light and put it under a bushel (Matthew 5:15).

To have ability and not use it; to have resources and not deploy them; to have knowledge and not share it, this is unfaithfulness. It is a sin against the commandment to love thy neighbor, and it hinders the progress of the Kingdom and the nation.

Digital Stewardship

In this age, the tools of stewardship have evolved. In times past, men managed flocks and fields. Today, we manage bits and bytes, codes and connections. This is Digital Stewardship.

God has entrusted you with knowledge of systems, networks, and information. Are you using this to build a "Common Wealth"? Colossians 3:23 says,

"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men." Whether you are writing code, building platforms, or creating networks, you are managing God's property.

Do not bury your talent in the ground of selfishness. Invest it in the technology of your time, that you may have fruit that remains.

FROM EXTORTION TO INCLUSION – THE LAW OF LIBERTY

The Apostle Paul wrote in

Galatians 5:1, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."

There are systems in this world that I call Extractive. They are systems designed to take from the many to enrich the few. They grind the faces of the poor, as the prophets cried out against. But God calls us to a system of Inclusion.

Proverbs 14:34 states, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."

A nation stands not by its army, but by its justice. It flourishes not by the wealth of the elite, but by the welfare of the people. We look to the example of Nehemiah. He built the wall of Jerusalem, yes, but he did something greater. He saw injustice—nobles charging usury, taking lands, enslaving the people. And his spirit was stirred.

He said in Nehemiah 5:9,

"The thing that ye do is not good: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God?"

Nehemiah understood that a wall is useless if the people inside are dying of hunger. A city is nothing if its economy is eating its own children.

Building the New Walls

How shall we build this wall today? Through the instruments of modern wisdom! Through Financial Technology and systems of transparency.

In times past, the poor were at the mercy of the lender. But now, through the networks of truth—blockchains, ledgers, mobile systems—we can create a new kind of wall. A wall of protection. A system where a man can receive payment without it being stolen. Where a brother can get help without being exploited

This aligns with Leviticus 25:14,

"And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another."

To use your mind to fix the system, not just to benefit from it. To create structures where all men may stand equal in the market place, as they are equal in the sight of God. This is service! This is success!

WE ARE ONE BODY – THE CONNECTED LIFE

Theology teaches us the doctrine of the Communion of Saints and the Body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12 declares,

"For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ."

This is not merely a metaphor for the church; it is a constitution for society. A nation is a body. The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of thee." Nor the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." When one member suffers, all suffer together. When one member is honored, all rejoice.

When the educated isolate themselves from the uneducated; when the rich build walls around themselves and leave the poor outside—the body is sick. The nation is weak. This violates the law of love which is the royal law (James 2:8).

But look at what the age has brought forth! In the past, distance separated brothers. Now, Networks connect us. Platforms exist where knowledge is shared. Where code is given freely. Where mentorship flows like water.

This is the Body of Christ in action! When you share your skill on the digital highways; when you lift up a young entrepreneur; when you bridge the gap between those who have and those who know not—you are fulfilling Galatians 6:2:

"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."

We are not called to be islands; we are called to be connections. Success is not success until it is shared. Wealth is not wealth until it multiplies in the hands of others.

EXCELLENCE AS A TESTIMONY

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your works as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God (Romans 12:1).

There are those who think that spirituality is enough. They say, "We have faith," but their works are shoddy. Their systems are broken. Their labor is lazy. But James 2:20 reminds us, "Faith without works is dead." And work without excellence is a reproach.

We look to the Prophet Daniel. Daniel 6:3 says,

"Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm."

His enemies sought fault, but found none, because his work was perfect. This is the standard. As written in Titus 2:10,

"That they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things."

Your work is your sermon. When you build software that works perfectly; when you create systems that are honest and do not cheat; when you produce goods that are true and durable—you are preaching righteousness without words.

In a world of glitches and corruption, to build something that works is a prophetic act. To write code that is clean and unbiased is to shine as a light in a dark place. As Daniel 12:3 promises,

"They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."

Be excellent, that your faith may be believed.

THE JOSEPH ANOINTING – WISDOM AND FOREKNOWLEDGE

Consider the wisdom of Joseph, a type of Christ and a model for leaders.

God gave him dreams—this is revelation/data.

He interpreted the meaning—this is understanding/wisdom.

He built storehouses—this is infrastructure/technology.

He prepared for the famine—this is strategy/governance.

Joseph did not just pray; he planned. He did not just prophesy; he organized. He operated in Isaiah 11:2:

"And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD."

This is the mind we need today! We live in the age of information. We have tools called Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. These are not contrary to God; they are gifts from God, given to the children of men for the service of humanity, as stated in James 1:17,

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights..."

Are we using them to predict droughts? To heal diseases? To feed the hungry? To educate the masses?

This is the Joseph Strategy for the modern age. Do not wait for the crisis to hit. Use the light you have to see the future. Use the tools you have to build safety nets. Use your success to create systems that save nations from destruction.

THE MINDSET THAT BUILDS

Romans 12:2 commands us, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

To build a nation and walk in true success, you must have the Mind of Christ. This includes:

1. The Mind of Stewardship

Knowing that you are only a pilgrim passing through. You are caretaker of the land. You will give account to the Owner. "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful" (1 Corinthians 4:2).

2. The Mind of Vision

Not looking at what is seen only, but what is unseen. Planting trees you may never sit under. Laying foundations for generations yet unborn. "Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18).

3. The Mind of Responsibility

Not saying, "What can I do?" but saying, "Here am I, send me." A nation is built by citizens, not by kings alone. "Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" (2 Timothy 2:1).

4. The Mind of Excellence

Rejecting mediocrity as a sin. Doing all things heartily, as unto the Lord. "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10).

THE MULTIPLIER – LEAVING A LEGACY

Finally, my brethren, what profit is it to gain the whole world and lose your legacy? Adam Smith spoke of the Wealth of Nations, but the true wealth is the people—human capital.

2 Timothy 2:2 gives us the formula for generational impact: "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

This is the chain of success:

Me -> You -> Them -> The World

This is multiplication. Use the tools of this age—Educational Technology—to scale your voice. Record your wisdom. Open your knowledge. Invest in young men and women. Not just giving alms, but giving capital. Not just giving fish, but giving nets.

This is Venture Philanthropy. This is Kingdom Economics. When you raise up a new generation of leaders, you build an army that will stand when you are gone. You lay up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:20).

CONCLUSION: THE MEASURE OF A MAN

So then, how shall we measure success?

In the world, they measure ROI—Return on Investment.

But in the Kingdom, we measure RSR—Return on Social Redemption.

- How many lives did you lift?

- How many systems did you fix?

- How much truth did you spread?

You are successful when your presence makes the city safer.

You are successful when your business makes the market honest.

You are successful when your technology makes wisdom accessible.

You are not just a citizen. You are a pillar.

You are not just successful. You are a servant.

For Luke 12:48 declares, "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."

Now then, let us stand fast. Let us be immovable. Let us abound in this work always, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
